Trudi: "I believe it's the job of an actor - and I say actor, not actress because the word actress is nonsensical - it's the actor's job to avoid impediments to their performance. It's the actor's job to strive for one hundred percent effectiveness. Naturally, we never succeed, but it's the pursuit..that's meaningful".

The above quote justifies the emotion and feelings of an actor who strives to become one hundred percent successful. Although, it has been quoted by a 12-year-old girl. Just Tarantino things.

Once Upon A Time...In Hollywood has been perfectly written and directed by the great Quentin Tarantino which is also his 9th film. The story revolves around a fading actor (Leo Di Caprio) who is trying to make a big comeback in the Hollywood business.

In the early part of his career, he has done many western cowboy movies in which he plays the heavy. Later, he is being realized by a casting Marvin Schwarz advises him to travel to Italy to make Spaghetti Westerns, which Dalton feels are beneath him. Also, Rick (Leo) had got his driving license taken away for too many drunk driving tickets. Cliff (Brad Pitt) drives him everywhere who is also his stunt double.

So, an opportunity presents itself before Rick: he can go to Rome, star in Westerns, and win fights. In this movie, we see Rick Dalton who is a fictional character but a lot of Hollywood stars back in the 60s could relate to him. Quentin has his own style of making films, he is one of those directors who can create a movie without a plot and still be a masterpiece.

There are brief cameos of Kurt Russell, Mike Moh, Luke Perry, etc. Also, the story also focuses on the brief history of the Manson Family, who operated during the late 60s and were famous for their serial killings.

Margot Robbie plays the role of Sharon Tate, who arrives in Hollywood with her husband the great film producer Roman Polanski. According to the majority of the viewers, there was no need for Robbie's role in the movie but we say otherwise. Charles Manson is also seen in the movie who comes to Tate's house. In reality, Charles Manson and his followers were found guilty for the murder of Sharon Tate.

Once Upon a Time...In Hollywood has its own style and taste. Like-

10% Leo Cursing himself

10% Hippies

20% Fight Scene

10% Leo and Brad getting Drunk

50% Brad Pitt Driving.

But this movie is a 100% classic.

This is a must-watch movie, if you are a Tarantino fanatic and a cinema lover, especially when you love westerns. Pitt's expertise will leave you on the edge of your seat anxiously preparing for the next scene, line, or movement, a case in point being a basement scene that sent chills from my spine to my tailbone. The Irishman, then, is a film in which near enough everything works.  Tarantino has worked with Pitt and Di Caprio before in the like of Inglorious Basterds (2009) and Django Unchained (2012) respectively.

My Rating- 8/10.
