Sean Maguire- "You'll always have bad times, but it'll wake you up to the good stuff you weren't paying attention to".

If you ever feel low, watch this movie. Ever need your confidence back? Watch this movie. Want some really motivating quotes? Watch this movie.

Good will hunting is more of a discovery than a movie to be honest. A complex orphan character who doesn't really want to give in to the noramlities of the society. Friends who are ready to die for you and people who believe in you. This film is everything you're looking for. The scenes between Robin and Matt have so much meaning for a second I thought if these sessions or therapies would be life lessons on their own. Some movies can't be expressed they have to be felt. Matt and Robin's characters will definitely help you to do what you really wanted to do in the first place.

Sean Maguire- "He pushes people away before they get a chance to leave him. It's a defense mechanism. And for 20 years he's been alone because of that".

The writing is like poetry. And the performances are so realistic that they make you forget the characters are exercising in make believe. It's the type of movie that hits so close to home on every level emotionally, that you no longer feel like you're just simply watching a movie, you feel like your right there in the same room with those characters, experiencing the same situations they are.

The fact that it was written by Ben and Matt was a shock to me (they did win the Academy Award for the Best Screenplay), I did not expect any strong writing and a solid script, but boy was I wrong. The movie lasts for 2 hours, and every minute of it I couldn't even focus on anything beside the incredible world of Will Hunting. Both Matt and Robin Williams preform wonderfully from both a comedic and theatrical prospective.

If you are looking for a typical Hollywood movie with a Hollywood ending, then do not bother spending two hours on this movie. This movie was ahead of it's time. Do not miss this. Ever. It's worth every minute.
My Rating- 8.5/10
